- A large (160 m2) and well equipped workshop

- 4 high temperature kilns (Gas 90 l ceramic fibres test kiln ; electric 150 l ; gas and wood 500 l ; and gas 650 l ceramic fibres for rapid firing cycles) and a gas raku kiln.

- Plenty of wheels : 8 electric ones and 2 kick wheels

- A professional (since 1969) English speaking potter who has taught at Lucante since 1980. However speaking a little french is recommended.

- Complete and informal tuition with theory and practice linked. Theory in isolation only when necessary, for example for glazes calculation : molecular formulas, fusion diagrams.

- Library with 180 titles in French, English, and Spanish, specialized reviews, suppliers'catalogues...

- Video movies.

The workshop is open : you may use it freely at any time with no limit on your work or the number of pieces.

There's no "secret" : all glazes formulas and recipes, and the tests of the studio are given to the students unreservedly. Individual guidance.
